Delicato Vineyards. For more than 75 years, the Indelicato family has been crafting fine wines at world-class estate vineyards. Delicato harvests more than 10,000 acres of vineyards across the top grape-growing regions of California - from the coastal cool of the legendary San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey to the rolling foothills of Lodi. Delicato's experienced winemakers have brought decades of expertise to these remarkable grapes to create Delicato wines of distinctive character, memorable quality and exceptional value. Their wine tasting room, open daily in Manteca, just 36 miles from the hotel, features wines from Delicato Family Vineyards, Clay Station, Monterra, Encore and Delicato Monterey Vine Select, as well as limited release wines. A wide array of wines is complemented by an excellent selection of gift and gourmet items. They also host special events throughout the year at the winery, such as the Juried Art Show in January, the 3-D Art Show in March, and the Juice Days for Home Winemakers in September and October. Wente Estate Vineyards Winery. - F or over 125 years, Wente Vineyards has produced fine wines from historic Livermore Valley and Arroyo Seco winegrowing regions. Their distinguished Vineyard Reserve and Vineyard Selection wines have evolved from their origin over a century ago into balanced wines to enjoy on all occasions. Wente Estate includes over 2,700 acres of vineyards in the Livermore Valley and in Arroyo Seco, Monterey. One hour from San Francisco, Wente offers unique winemaking tours that provide a fascinating look at modern winemaking techniques juxtaposed with century-old oval barrels that are still in use. Visitors can learn about wine tasting and sample award-winning wines from the Estate Winery Tasting Room. Diablo Grande Vineyards. The Diablo Grande Vineyards consist of 36 acres of winegrapes sculpted into the rolling hillsides of the Diablo Range on the western slope of the San Joaquin Valley. The 1,100-foot vineyards include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Barbera, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvigno, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, Petite Syrah, Malbec, Viognier and Riesling. Diablo Grande's grapes and wines have distinct flavors and characteristics which distinguish them from other California winegrowing regions. Diablo Grande is an approved American Viticultural Area, identified as a separate and unique grape-growing region, offering "Estate Bottled"wines. Since 1997, Diablo Grande Wines have been produced and bottled by Isom Ranch Winery, a private enterprise located within the Diablo Grande Viticultural Area. Winemaker Fran Lightly started making wines from Diablo Grande grapes in1993 while attending graduate school at Cal State Fresno. These wines were first released to the public in May of 2000.  [Top]
